Ikoflex 1C 886/16

This more common than the slightly later Favorit ("IIC") model (q.v.). It is the final series I model, produced from 1956. It has a CdS meter where the nameplate would have been, like the late IIa, with the readout projected into the viewfinder - a nice refinement carried over to the Favorit. A distinct improvement on the Ib, and prices today indicate that it still has a fond following.

The shade around the taking lens is an after-market accessory fitted to this camera on the day of the photoshoot.
